LUX MED Group and CM LIM have introduced a new product: a package with hospital insurance developed in cooperation with an international insurer, Nordic Health Care. This innovative solution enables patients of LUX MED and LIM Medical Center to use planned hospital care services in Europe and emergency hospitalisation around the world.

The insurance agreement includes comprehensive medical services during the patient's stay at a hospital, including maintenance costs, intensive care, surgery (including one-day surgery), organ transplantation, treatment of tumours, including outpatient chemotherapy and radiation therapy, dialyses, pacemakers and any other devices inserted into the patient's body in a surgical procedure, as well as prostheses, treatment of mental disorders, examinations, laboratory tests, X-ray scans, medicines, dressings and nursing care. In addition, the insurance enables patients to use, among others, an additional room and board for the caretaker of a sick child, medical transportation to and from the place of treatment and between health care units, as well as financial benefits in exceptional situations.

The provision of the most appropriate and convenient for the patient treatment is supervised by a representative of the LUX MED Group and LIM Medical Center. A specially trained hospitalisation nurse coordinates the submission process and then arranges hospitalisation in the hospital chosen by the patient. Patients with serious conditions may also combine the NHC insurance with the BEST DOCTORS service. This provides the patient with a second opinion prepared by top specialists from all over the world, as well as with guidelines based on a professional analysis indicating which of the European hospitals offers the best treatment results for a specific disorder.

It is worth emphasizing the high guaranteed sum insured of PLN 5 million, which makes it possible to use even the latest and very expensive methods of treatment.

PROMEDIS is a brand of 10 clinics located mainly in western and south-western parts of Poland. The services of PROMEDIS are used by 62,000 corporate patients based on fixed agreements, the so-called packages.

One of the LUX MED's subsidiaries is FADO, the largest Polish provider of mobile diagnostics: mammography, haemodynamics and ESWL (extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy).
