Management Board

A graduate of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń and the University of Hamburg, Anna Rulkiewicz also completed postgraduate studies at the Polish-French Insurance Institute (operating within the French Institute), and a series of training courses in the field of management, sales, communication, marketing (including 3-year managerial studies), organized under the certified insurance programme LIMRA "Marketing Strategies for Executive Advancement" (LIMRA Executive Development Group).

She has also completed several other management, sales, finance, marketing and banking courses. Anna Rulkiewicz has worked in LUX MED, where earlier she was a Member of the Management Board and Sales and Marketing Director, since 2002.

In her work experience she has been responsible for the management of the Sales and Marketing Department at Credit Suisse Life & Pensions Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń na Życie (2001-2002). At Powszechne Towarzystwo Emerytalne / Winterthur she supervised the Internal Sales, External Sales, Group Life Insurance, and Marketing and Communication Departments. Between 1998 and 2001 she worked for Zurich Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń na Życie S.A. and Zurich Powszechne Towarzystwo Emerytalne S.A. in the position of Group Insurance and Training Director responsible, among others, for the group insurance segment, including the creation of services, the recruitment system and the management of trainings. After she became the Corporate Customer Unit Director and was nominated for the Member of the Management Board of Zurich Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń na Życie S.A., Ms. Rulkiewicz was responsible for small business and corporate customers. Between 1995 and 1998 she worked in Commercial Union Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń na Życie S.A., where her most recent responsibilities covered individual and group insurance sales within the scope of bankassurance.

Piotr Błaszczyński is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical Academy of Łódź and a fellow of Georgetown and George Washington Universities (management as well as healthcare organization and policy, respectively).

As a member of the Board and Medical Director of Medicover Sp. z o.o., he integrated the company's management system and supervised its network of clinics. Prior to this, he worked for Cap Gemini Ernst&Young consulting firm, where he was in charge of projects related to the strategy and restructuring in the services sector.

An advisor of Georgetown University in the area of healthcare management programmes in Central and Eastern Europe, Mr Błaszczyński was also a consultant on numerous government programmes for financing of medical services and transformation of hospital systems. He co-authored the accreditation system of outpatient clinics and medical healthcare standards in basic healthcare provision.

Barbara Gad-Karpierz is a graduate of the 1st Faculty of Medicine at the Medical Academy in Warsaw and has also completed the postgraduate studies in Public Health Care at Nofer Institute of Occupational Medicine in Łódź and postgraduate studies in Controlling. Pediatrician with the second degree specialization.

In her work experience she has been responsible for Neonate Union and the Intensive Care ward in the Clinic of Neonatology of Institute of Mother and Child in Warsaw. She has also been working as an advisor pediatrician in the Surgery Clinic of the Institute. In 1994-1996 she was employed in Neonate Intensive Care Union (NICU) at Tohoku University in Japan. In 1998-2007 she was the principal of the Damian Medical Centre. After she became the Vice President of the Management Board and the Plenipotentiary of Board for Controlling of the Medical Centre. In 2007 she has started her work in CM LIM as a pediatrician and the Member of Management Board.

Founder-member of Warsaw Section of TPJ. An Author of publications on the topic of organization in public health care institutions and on the matters of quality management in health care.
