On 12 December 2011, there was held the first lecture organised by the LUX MED Group Hospital for physicians employed at the Warsaw facilities of the Group.

The presentation on chronic venous insufficiency was given by Dr Karol Chakkour, MD, PhD, general and vascular surgery specialist from the LUX MED Group Hospital.
It was the first one in the planned series of educational lectures organised for the Group physicians. The goal of meetings is the expansion of physicians' knowledge by problems from various areas of medicine, encountered by surgeons from the LUX MED Group Hospital in their everyday practice.
