Mid Europa Partners completes CM LIM acquisition

Mid Europa Partners completes CM LIM acquisition and announces LUX MED's acquisition of Promedis, further consolidating Polish healthcare market.

Mid Europa Partners announced that it has completed the acquisition of 100% of Centrum Medyczne LIM Sp. z o.o. from its founders. Separately, Mid Europa Partners' portfolio company LUX MED announced that it has entered into a conditional agreement to acquire Promedis.

Matthew Strassberg, who is responsible for Mid Europa's Polish healthcare platform commented: "The closing of CM LIM and the simultaneous announcement by LUX MED of the agreement to acquire Promedis represent a further milestone in our year-long process of consolidating the Polish healthcare market. These investments will further bolster the platform's ability to offer the full range of out-patient and day-surgery services to patients throughout the country. On a pro-forma basis, the platform will operate 57 own-branded clinics, 23 captive clinics and provide approximately 930,000 subscribers access to a network of approximately 900 affiliated private providers."

Anna Rulkiewicz, CEO of LUX MED and Medycyna Rodzinna added: "We look forward to working with the excellent and highly professional teams at CM LIM and Promedis to develop a common strategy based on an integrated product offering supported by the investment in new clinics and a common back-office and IT infrastructure".

Michelle Capiod, Pawel Padusinski and Jan Krzewinski executed the CM LIM transaction and supported the LUX MED management team in executing the Promedis investment. Mid Europa and LUX MED were advised by Linklaters and PwC.
