We are pleased to inform you that as of 2 November 2010, starting at 7.00 a.m., the surgery and orthopaedics duty for all patients from the Warsaw area will be provided by the LUX MED Group Hospital. This recently opened, modern and comfortable facility is located near one of Warsaw's main arteries - ul. Puławska 455 in the Ursynów District.

As part of the duty, hospital-based specialists will provide medical care in emergency cases, such as wound suturing, dressing change, removal of foreign bodies, and assistance with dislocations and fractures. Surgical consultations will be held on a 24/7 basis, while orthopaedic ones will take place Monday through Friday from 3.00 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

As to date, 24-hour GP and paediatric care will continue to be provided in the specially organised Emergency Care Centre at ul. Racławicka 132B in Warsaw.
At the same time, we would like to emphasise that, in each case, patients should first contact the 24-hour LUX MED Group Hotline by calling 801 80 08 08 or 22 33 22 888 (from mobile phones). As part of the above service, we also operate the Telephone Medical Hotline, where experienced physicians, nurses and paramedics provide advice as to what actions should be taken in a given situation. In addition, they also possess information on the opening hours of pharmacies and hospitals.
