One of the largest LUX MED medical centres opens in Warsaw
One of the largest LUX MED medical centres in Poland was opened on 2 November 2009. The newest facility at ul. Postępu 21 C in Warsaw boasts a total surface of 2,500 square metres with over 60 doctor's offices and treatment rooms.
The modern medical centre is located in Park Postępu - a complex of office buildings recently put into operation. The same building also houses the LUX MED Group's registered office with the company's administrative departments. The facility is staffed with specialists who until recently have provided services in the centre located at ul. Racławicka 132 B: general practitioners, cardiologists, laryngologists, occupational medicine physicians, neurologists, nephrologists, ophthalmologists, gynaecologists, allergists, pulmonologists, infectious diseases and tropical medicine specialists, dermatologists, diabetologists, endocrinologists, gastroenterologists, haematologists, hepatologists, rheumatologists and urologists. In addition, the centre also has dental offices providing services in the scope of non-invasive dentistry, dental surgery and prosthodontics.
The facility also offers a broad scope of tests, including resting ECG, exercise ECG and ultrasound examinations, as well as rehabilitation treatments such as electrical stimulation, phonopheresis, galvanization, inopheresis, and also diadynamic current, interference current, laser, manual, ultrasound and hydro-ultrasound therapies.
The LUX MED Medical Centre is open Monday through Friday: 7.30 a.m. until 8.00 p.m., and on Saturdays: 8.00 a.m. until 2 p.m. A car park is made available especially for the patients' convenience.
"I am convinced that our Patients will greatly appreciate the modern equipment and comfortable conditions awaiting them in the new location, as well as the convenient location of the largest LUX MED medical centre in Warsaw. The facility in ul. Postępu has taken over the functions served by the centre at ul. Racławicka 132 B for over 16 years. Historically the first LUX MED medical centre to open, soon it will specialise in the provision of emergency medical care as well as diagnostic imaging and laboratory diagnostics. Similarly to the facility in Park Postępu, all the other LUX MED Group investments also meet the highest quality standards. Recently, we have opened new centres in Krakow and Poznań, as well as initiated cooperation with the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in the running of the "Tabita" Care Home in Konstancin-Jeziorna. Soon, we will put into operation new centres in Gdynia, Gdańsk and Lublin, and we are already planning for mid-2010 the opening of a one-day surgery hospital in Warsaw, next to which a LUX MED Group Emergency Medical Care Centre will operate. We have also introduced an integrated computer system, crucial for improving the standards of customer care within the Group. These and other executed investments stem directly from the consistently implemented strategy, developed in cooperation with our investor who joined the Group in 2008" said Anna Rulkiewicz-Kaczyńska, President of the LUX MED Group.
